The December Photo Challenge

December 11/2013
#11 - Black and White

So when you hear black and white what do you think about? The first thing that came to my mind was Zebras and the second was a "Black & White Ball". Obviously the Zebras won. Since this is a photo challenge I believe the goal for today was a black and white photo as well. I would  like very much for our honeymoon to be spent in Africa. See them up close and personal.

Zebra Factoid:
Zebras live in Africa, in the wild.

There are three species of Zebra, The Plains Zebra, Grevy’s Zebra, and the Mountain Zebra.

The Plains Zebra (also called the Grants Zebra, or the Common Zebra) is listed as Endangered and has been hunted for its meat and its hide. It also is suffering from loss of habitat. Plains Zebras often form herds with Wildebeests or Antelopes. They reside throughout Kenya and down through South Africa. Plains Zebras typically live in herds of several mares, their young foals, and one stallion.

Relax... Respect... Enjoy... Dorri
